Hi everyone,

Over the past month, we’ve rolled out several new features and improvements to help you gain deeper insights and make smarter decisions. Here’s what’s new:

🧭 Org Chart View – A Clearer Way to Manage Your Tech Org

You can now manage your tech organization more easily with our new Org Chart View in the administration module.

This view helps you quickly identify inconsistencies in your organizational structure. For example, if a contributor has no manager and no direct reports, they’ll be flagged with a warning icon — helping you maintain a clean and accurate org setup.

📊 Contribution Scores Are Here

We’re excited to introduce Contribution Scores — a new set of 7 indicators that evaluate different aspects of engineering work to provide a multidimensional view of each contributor’s performance.

You can now easily identify strengths and areas for improvement across categories like coding, reviewing, task completion, and more. For more details, follow this link.

📈 Benchmarking Performance Over Time

Once you detect an area for improvement, our new Benchmark Dashboard allows you to track how a contributor is performing over time, and compare their performance to peers, their division, or the entire organization.

💰 Financial Analysis & Software Capitalization Reporting

You can now simplify your software cost capitalization process with Kindor’s new Financial Analysis module.

This module automatically classifies capitalizable vs. non-capitalizable engineering work, helping you reduce reporting time and improve accuracy in financial reports.

As with all Kindor features, it adapts to your workflow, whether you estimate costs using story points, task counts, or time spent per task, you’ll gain clear visibility into how your costs are distributed across key initiatives.

Note: This module is available exclusively on premium plans. Contact us to learn more or request a personalized walkthrough.

🔔 New Alerts to Boost Jira & Notion Adoption

We know that adoption of tools like Jira and Notion can be painful for engineering teams — and poor adoption often means missing or misleading data.

To help improve visibility and encourage better habits, we’ve added new Slack alerts to help your team stay on top of task updates and improve adoption of Jira and Notion:

🗂 Task Hygiene Alerts:
  • Tasks about to expire (due in less than 24 hours)

  • Contributors with no tasks to do or in progress  (only for users with recent Jira activity)

  • Contributors with no tasks in progress (only for users with recent Jira activity and no activity in the past 2 days)

🏃 Improve your Sprints Data Quality
  • Tasks in “In Progress” status that haven’t been updated in the last X days

  • Contributors in a sprint with no tasks assigned to do  (only triggers if the contributor has had activity in the sprint and no tasks are currently “In Progress”)

Let us know what you think or if you’d like a personalized demo of any of these new features. More updates coming soon!
